Brother Rachid was raised in a small village in Morocco as a Muslim. His father, the village imam, expected Rachid to be his successor. After moving to Casablanca, however, Brother Rachid was listening to the radio during Ramadan when he heard the gospel in Arabic for the first time. Afterward, he wrote a letter to the radio ministry, which led to years of correspondence.
During that time, he questioned his religion and ideology while learning about Christianity and Jesus. After many years, Brother Rachid gave his life to Christ and started a journey of growing in his faith.
From Morocco to the World
After coming to faith in Christ, Brother Rachid seriously studied both Christianity and Islam and helped translate the Bible into the Moroccan dialect. Additionally, he served the underground church by discipling new Muslim background believers.
Rachid faced serious persecution, however, once the government discovered his religious activities. For the safety of his family, Rachid left Morocco. Once settled in a safe country, Rachid still felt a burden to reach Moroccans and share the gospel. God opened a door for him to start producing television programs.
Since 2006, Rachid has hosted television shows that compare Christianity and Islam, including 55 taped episodes of Unveiling the Mask and 555 live episodes of Daring Questions.
Let's Be Clear
Brother Rachid now hosts a TV program called Let's Be Clear, which features dynamic testimonies of Muslim-background believers. On Let’s Be Clear, followers of Islam can ask questions about the Christian message through lively, on-air phone calls. The program also exposes the plight of oppressed Christians in Muslim countries, refutes misconceptions about Christianity, and fearlessly tackles other controversial topics. Thousands of viewers have called the prayer line or visited its web sites — many to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Rachid holds a bachelor’s degree in comparative religion and a master’s in political sciences.
100 Thousand and Counting

Currently, Brother Rachid produces content on three YouTube channels averaging over 1 million video views per month. Along with Daring Questions and Let's Be Clear, Brother Rachid produces original short content on YouTube and a weekly live program comparing Islam and Christianity that is also broadcast on a local radio station in Michigan.
